Green Life Smart Life Selects Robert Saglio Audio Video Design as Home Integrator
Narragansett, RI - May 6, 2009 - Green Life Smart LifeTM, a Rhode Island-based green building showcase home, has chosen Robert Saglio Audio Video Design as the technology integrator for the project. For decades, the company has applied insurmountable audio/video and lighting control experience to every installation. Coupled with their recent green building and energy management solutions they will help the project achieve up to 5 LEED-H project points in everything from the Energy & Atmosphere and Innovative Design categories.
As the official electronic systems contractor for the Green Life Smart Life project, Robert Saglio Audio Video Design is designing and installing a digital lifestyle system that will allow the homeowners to enjoy a world-class home entertainment and automation experience that is nevertheless acutely energy-efficient and eco-conscious. As a member of the CEA, RS Audio Video is designing the structured wiring solution to the standards of CEA TechHome Rating System but taking into all of the considerations of LEED-H. From centralizing the control hub to eliminating hundreds of feet wiring to specifying low-VOC conduit for future accessibility, RS Audio Video, in cooperation with the builder and homeowners, will help create standards for future electronic systems installers to achieve LEED points. Features like energy monitoring, ENERGY STAR® audio and video products and lighting control will be incorporated into the home to ensure that the homeowners reach their optimal energy consumption goals.
